NOTICE OF ACCLAMATION

Nominations for the by-election scheduled for January 5, 2021, for the Office of Mayor of Bon Accord were received by the Returning Officer from November 18 to December 1, 2020 at 12:00pm.   

One nomination was received during this time.  As per section 64 of the Election Act, if only one candidate is nominated by the time nominations close, the returning officer shall immediately declare that the candidate is elected.  

Greg Nicholas Mosychuk, has been declared Mayor of Bon Accord and will be sworn in and affirmed at the December 15, 2020 Regular Meeting of Council.  

 No by-election is required.
