Town of Bon Accord Announces Appointment of Bill Rogers as CAO

After conducting a comprehensive and professional recruitment process involving extensive candidate screening and evaluation, the Town of Bon Accord is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Rogers as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), effective April 1, 2026.

 

Mr. Rogers brings extensive experience in municipal government to the position, having served in a number of leadership roles throughout his career, including work in municipal planning and senior administrative leadership. Most recently, he retired as Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Bonnyville, where he built a strong reputation for collaborative leadership, sound governance, and effective municipal management.

 

Following his retirement, Mr. Rogers joined the Bloom Centre for Municipal Education as an associate and has been serving as Interim Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Bon Accord. During this time, he has worked closely with Council and staff, demonstrating a strong commitment to the organization, the community, and the Town’s strategic priorities.

His commitment to collaboration and relationship-building with Council, staff, and the community will help support Bon Accord as we continue advancing our strategic initiatives.”

 

Town Council expressed confidence that Mr. Rogers’ experience and leadership will be instrumental in supporting the continued growth, stability, and success of the community.

 

The Town of Bon Accord looks forward to working with Mr. Rogers in his new role as the municipality continues to build on its strategic priorities and serve residents.
