Notice of Construction
Town of Bon Accord and Central Civil Solutions Inc. wish to advise you that construction of 50th Ave from 53rd Str
to 56th Str is scheduled to continue Tuesday September 29th, 2026.
The work will involve full asphalt roadway reconstruction. Detours and loss of parking will be required throughout
the project affecting the normal movement of traffic and pedestrians.
Construction will take place in 2 phases as shown in the picture below. During the week of Phase 1 construction,
parking and access will be allowed in Phase 2. Once Phase 1 is at the final compacted gravel stage, we will then
close off Phase 2 for an approximate week and allow parking and resident access in Phase 1.
There will be restricted access to 50th Ave for 1 day to allow for site paving at the end of the project. Residents will
be notified of the scheduled date within a reasonable time to allow for necessary planning.
During the full construction period, excess parking will be on 51 Ave.
During this time there will be numerous personnel and heavy equipment in the construction zone. Please obey
flaggers, detours, barricades, and traffic signs. All construction staff will do their best to keep inconveniences for
residents to a minimum.
Project Duration: September 29 – October 16, 2026

Work Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday - Saturday

- Equipment moving up and down the roadway
- Access restrictions for residents
- Possible flying debris in immediate area of working equipment
- Elevated noise level in area of working equipment
- Higher level of construction traffic in immediate areas of work
