Community Field Trip: Sturgeon Region Farms

Join us Saturday, March 21 for a community field trip to 3 Sturgeon region highlights! Lakeside Farmstead, Heidi's Haus, and Morinville Colony Farm Store. Enjoy a day of fun, laughter, and connection to shed the winter blues and welcome spring!

AGES: All ages. All children MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
DEPARTURE LOCATION: Town of Bon Accord office building, 5025 50th Ave. 
COST: $35 per person, includes round trip bus transportation 
DEADLINE TO REGISTER AND PAY: Monday, March 16

Minimum 12 people for event to take place.
No refunds for cancellations or no-shows.

TIMELINE

  • 12:30 p.m. sharp (please arrive early!): Depart Town of Bon Accord office
  • 12:50 p.m.: Arrive at Lakeside Farmstead (local cheesemaker). Tour (approx 1-1.5hrs). Option to purchase local goods like cheese, butter, etc. ($$)
  • 2:15 p.m.: Depart Lakeside Farmstand
  • 2:30 p.m.: Arrive at Heidi's Haus candy store. Explore and pick up a sweet treat ($$)
  • 3:00 p.m.: Depart Heidi's Haus
  • 3:30 p.m.: Arrive Morinville Colony Farm Store. Explore and pick up local goods like homemade breads, pies, etc. ($$)
  • 3:50 p.m.: Depart Morinville Colony Farm Store.
  • 4:30 p.m.: Arrive at Town of Bon Accord office
