Kids Summer Day Camps In Bon Accord

Kids' Local Summer Day Camps are now open for registration! 16 days of FREE summer day camps - right here in Bon Accord!

AGES: 6-12 years

COST: July 18 is $5, all other days are free.

LUNCH: Not provided except where noted below (July 16 & July 25).  Please send children to camp with lunch, snacks, and water bottle in a backpack.  

LOCATION: Bon Accord Community Hall

DROP OFF TIME: between 8:30-9:00 AM

PICK UP TIME: between 3:30-3:45 PM

Maximum 30 children per day.

Please call Christina at the Town office at 780-921-3550 if you need to cancel your child's attendance at a day camp.

NOW WAITLIST ONLY July 4 - First Day of Camp

  • Dive into fun on the first day of our Under the Sea-themed summer camp! Explorers will start the day off by decorating their own bookbags, for weekly library adventures. In the afternoon, enjoy games and a hotdog lunch, finish the day with an ocean-themed snack. Making waves of excitement for the weeks ahead!

NOW WAITLIST ONLY July 9 - Rock Pets

  • Explorers will get creative by making their very own rock pets, each one full of personality and charm! After all that hard work, dive into an ocean themed craft. The day will be filled with imagination, creativity, and underwater fun!

NOW WAITLIST ONLY July 11 - Fun Friday

  • Every Friday, our explorers start the day off with a refreshing walk to the library to swap out their books. After lunch, the afternoon is all about Fun Friday activities, each Friday brings something new and exciting to wrap up the week with laughter, creativity, and lots of smiles! This week they will get to grow something in water and enjoy a delicious snack.

NOW WAITLIST ONLY July 14 - Disney Day

  • Today will be filled with wonder and imagination as explorers celebrate Disney Day! Everyone has the option to dress up as their favourite Disney characters, adding extra sparkle to the day. From princesses to superheroes, the camp will be filled with themed activities, fun costumes and plenty of Disney magic!

NOW WAITLIST ONLY July 16 - Garden Day - Lunch included

  • Explorers will get their hands dirty in the best way during Garden Day! Each child gets to plant their very own patch of grass and decorate a personalized house to go with it, creating a tiny lawn of their own for camp! After a morning of crafting and planting, pancake lunch will be served to fuel the rest of the day in the sun.

NOW WAITLIST ONLY July 18 - Fun Friday

  • Fun Friday again! Kick it off by walking over to the library to exchange books, spending some time exploring their new books! This weeks Fun Friday activity is Tie-dye! Your child will get to personalize their own tote bag. Clothes will get messy.   $5.00 fee per child applies.

NOW WAITLIST ONLY July 21 - LEGO Day

  • Today will be all about big ideas! Explorers will get to put their creativity to the test during LEGO day, designing anything that they can imagine! Camp will be filled with teamwork, laughter and many of tiny bricks as each camper gets to bring their vision to life, one LEGO at a time!

NOW WAITLIST ONLY July 23 - Mystery at Camp

  • Today's Mystery Day will bring a touch of magic to camp! Explorers will get the chance to open a special "Enchanted Slumber" mystery box, filled with dreamy surprises and whimsical activities. The day will feel like stepping into a fairytale, full of wonder, solving clues, imagination and just the right amount of mystery!

NOW WAITLIST ONLY July 25 - Christmas in July - Lunch included

  • The holiday magic continues as our explorers celebrate Christmas in July! They will have a blast making bright and festive ornaments and decorations, filling the day with creativity and holiday cheer!! All ornaments/decorations will then be sold at the Christmas Market, with all proceeds donated to a charity of the children's choice! Pizza lunch!

NOW WAITLIST ONLY July 28 - Bug Day

  • Explorers will become little gatherers and builders, finding natural supplies to build their very own bug hotels! They will learn all about helpful bugs and create cozy homes for their tiny friends. The day will be filled with nature discovery, teamwork, and only a little creepy-crawly fun!

August 1 - Fun Friday

  • This weeks Fun Friday Activity will require all explorers to bring their best searching skills, because there are some missing Minifigs around camp! After a successful search, ocean themed goodies will be the reward for all their help!

NOW WAITLIST ONLY August 6 - STEM Day

  • Join our camp leaders, who are both Bachelor of Science Students, for an exciting day of exploration! Come explore the science of things with Kayleigh, Annabelle and many fun ocean themed STEM activities!

NOW WAITLIST ONLY August 8 - Fun Friday

  • This week's Fun Friday activity requires all hands on deck. The Golden Stitch is missing and must be found! If your child regularly attends camp, they will understand how important The Golden Stitch is.

NOW WAITLIST ONLY August 11 - Bird Day

  • Get ready to spread your wings and soar into this bird-themed day. Explorers will learn about the colourful, chirpy world of birds through games, crafts, and nature play that inspire curiosity and joy.

August 13 - Kids in the Kitchen

  • Get ready for delicious, hands-on fun at camp! Explorers will become junior chefs as they explore the basics of baking. The highlight? Making and decorating their very own Sand Dollar Cookies. Perfect for our ocean themed camp!

August 15 - LAST Fun Friday

  • We are wrapping up an amazing summer with a sweet adventure. For our last Fun Friday of the year, we will be walking to Circle K to get slushies and celebrate the fun we've had together!
