Kids Summer Day Camps In Bon Accord
Kids' Local Summer Day Camps are now open for registration! 27 days of summer day camps - right here in Bon Accord for ages 7-12 through July and August! Step into a Magical Forest where adventure awakens and every day brings something new to discover! This summer camp is designed to inspire creativity, confidence, and connection through hands-on crafts, exciting activities, and meaningful conversations about self-discovery and mental wellness.
AGES: 7-12 years
COST: $5 per child, per day. No refunds for cancellations or no-shows.
LUNCH: Not provided except where noted below (July 2, 7, 16, 22, 30 & Aug 4).
LOCATION: Bon Accord Arena Mezzanine
DROP OFF TIME: 8:30-9am - programming begins at 9am
PICK UP TIME: 3:30-3:45pm
Maximum 40 children per day.
Please bring a bagged lunch, snacks, water bottle, hat, sensible footwear for walking, blanket/towel, sunscreen. Ensure all items are labelled.
Please call the Town office at 780-921-3550 if you need to cancel your child's attendance at a day camp.

- July 2 - First Day of Camp - Welcome to the Magical Forest! This is where the adventure begins. Lunch provided.
- July 3 - Exploring the Magical Forest. Games, crafts and potion making.
- July 7 - Dragon Safety. Games! Bring your bike/scooter for an afternoon of safety skills. Lunch provided.
- July 8 - Dragons Unite! A presentation from SHINE Beyond Limits./ Games and crafts with our friends from the SHINE program.
- July 9 - Dragon Training. Making dragon eggs and conducting experiments.
- July 10 - Escaping the Dragons Den. A scavenger hunt and obstacle courses.
- July 14 - Exploration of Kindness & Kingdoms. Making friendship bracelets, learning about personal boundaries and empathy.
- July 15 - The Portal Awakens. Watching a space movie in the Wonder Dome and a scavenger hunt. Local seniors will be joining us.
- July 16 - Magical Imagination Discovery. Making our own magical wands and other magical tools. Lunch provided
- July 17 - Magic Wonder Quest. Making lanterns, origami and playing games.
- July 21 - The Magic of Me! Positive affirmations, yoga and presentations from local health providers.
- July 22 - Journey through the Enchanted Forest. Nature walk, games and painting fire hydrants in town. Lunch provided.
- July 23 - Creatures of the Enchanted Forest. A special visit with cool creatures, relay races and crafts.
- July 24 - Blooming Spell Garden. Making tiny gardens and mushroom lanterns.
- July 28 - Puppet Enchantment Adventure. Making puppets and hosting our own puppet shows.
- July 29 - Rainbow Threads of Magic. Making suncatchers, tie-dying tote bags. Local seniors will be invited to join us.
- July 30 - Dreamweaver Quest. Making dreamcatchers, playing games. Lunch provided.
- July 31 - Movie Magic and PJ Party. Watching a movie, playing charades and making crafts.
- August 4 - Crowns and Board Game Cafe. Playing board games with local seniors, and an afternoon of crafts and games. Lunch provided.
- August 5 - Knight Training Academy. Making shields and completing an obstacle course.
- August 6 - Medieval Adventure. Lunch provided.
- August 11 - Teddy Bear Picnic. Bring your favorite teddy/stuffie. Making accessories for our teddies.
- August 12 - Exploring Magical and Mythical Beings. Making magical head bands and trading cards.
- August 13 - Castle Legends. Making our own castles and playing games outside.
- August 14 - Diving into Mermaid & Pirate Lagoon. Making mini ocean bottles and treasure chests.
- August 17 - Magic Adventure. Watching the Joe Show puppets and playing games.
- August 18 - Magical Forest Farewell. Glow party, face painting, movie, games and more!
Attending Bon Accord summer day camp will give children the opportunity to grow in a positive, supportive environment while learning important life skills. Through activities focused on mental health, body positivity, healthy habits, and teamwork, children build confidence, self-esteem, and emotional resilience. The day camps will also encourage kids to make new friends, develop social skills, and create lasting memories while staying active and engaged. These experiences help children feel connected, supported, and empowered both at camp and in their everyday lives.
