Parks & Trails Committee

The Parks and Trails Committee is seeking new volunteer members. Parks and trails infrastructure is permanent and provides a significant quality of life and value for the community. The purpose of the Committee is to provide recommendations to the Town of Bon Accord Administration and Council on the development of parks and trails within our community. Term of office is determined at the time of appointment to the Committee. This is a temporary Committee of Council, therefore, once the Committee has fulfilled its mandate, it will be dissolved.

Meeting Frequency: 4x per year (quarterly), based on member availability. Approx. 2 hours per meeting.

Positions available:

  • Members from the Community at Large - Applicants must reside in the Town of Bon Accord.
  • 1 Youth Representative - Applicants must be between the ages of 14 and 18; must reside in the Town of Bon Accord and be attending Junior or Senior High School.
